May: The May issue had a photo of Williams Arena on it with a story on both Gopher programs reaching 20-win seasons.  Columns featured state tournament commentary (McCarron) and free throw problems and solutions (Haggstrom).

All-state teams for all classes are named with photos of the five players on the first team in each class.

April: The latest issue of Minnesota Basketball News were the April issue, featuring a recap of all state tournament games with photos and a final ranking of the Top 20 in each class for both boys and girls.  Also included were columns by our editor Ron Haggstrom on Tayler Hill's experience with a threat prior to the state championship game and publisher Jeff McCarron's column with various items including Sweet 16 invitations, some youth regional highlights, news on the Northern Sun Conference, and some information on the upcoming Varsity MIT tournament and the MBBN Top 100 Expo Showcases.

The cover story featured Brittany Chambers of Jordan and Cody Schilling of Ellsworth, who both set state high school records this year.

Coaches' Corner featured Jon Noreen of Albany's Class AA State Champion Huskies.

In both issues the center section is an 8-page pull-out featuring 2008 Summer Basketball Camps.
